Our lab uses developmental and comparative neuroscience approaches to study how disruptions in early brain development can lead to neuropsychiatric disorders including schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders.  Our focus is understanding the genetic mechanisms involved in the assembly of human brain circuits involved in cognition and sensory processing, domains frequently disrupted in these disorders.
